Busking For Change in the Northern Rivers

If there is one thing that Northern Rivers communities loves, it's a good busker and after a successful pilot program in 2022, Busking For Change is launching nationally – we're in!

Now that our elected representatives have jointly signed up to a project with the UK and US of $368 billion, this on top of our current national debt of $894.9 billion, (as of 28 October 2022, with no prizes as to who we are already most indebted to), one would have to assume local Liberal and Labor voters would be happy to bring the floating Chernobyls here to Brunswick Heads and would be happy to have a nuclear waste dump on the Northern Rivers as well.

Has there ever been a more insane, dangerous and completely dumb national strategy presented by our ‘very mature’ and ‘intelligent’ Labor leaders?

It is widely viewed that the submarines would be obsolete by the time they arrive anyway, all at the cost of every social, health, welfare, and security policy and standard of living for all Australians.

No matter how much spin and BS Albanese, Marles and Wong spew out about the virtues of their defence policy, any sane person would realise that kindness and cooperation is needed more than ever in our region if this planet is to survive.

Any difference between Labor and Liberal is purely in the spelling. These immature fake leaders need therapy.

Support The Echo

Keeping the community together and the community voice loud and clear is what The Echo is about. More than ever we need your help to keep this voice alive and thriving in the community.

Like all businesses we are struggling to keep food on the table of all our local and hard working journalists, artists, sales, delivery and drudges who keep the news coming out to you both in the newspaper and online. If you can spare a few dollars a week – or maybe more – we would appreciate all the support you are able to give to keep the voice of independent, local journalism alive.

  1. The Northern Rivers as a nuclear waste dump…..interesting idea. Seems like a better use than building endless housing on a flood plain. And what idiots think the subs will obsolete when delivered? They are obsolete now. At least they match our F-35 plummeting turkeys, the planes that suffocate their pilots and go blind if they are within 50kms of a thunder storm. Not to mention our pre-shotup in Iraq but they welded up the holes and painted a kangaroo on it, M-1 tanks. The tanks that run on a jet engine, and thus can’t handle dust and burn through 10X the fuel per km than the Leopard tanks they replaced. Just perfect for a big dusty continent. We have been purposely disarmed since the mid-90s.

Australians are great at designing and building effective, innovative weapons, at a reasonable. We need to arm up and declare neutrality. You can get further with a kind word and a big stick, than you can by chaining yourself to a heavily armed dying psychopath that is thrashing around at everyone.
