A woman reported missing from Tweed Heads on Tuesday, 21 March, 2023 has been located safe and well.

The 41-year-old woman was reported missing after she was last seen in Tweed Heads about 5.40am last Tuesday.

After she could not be located or contacted, officers attached to Tweed-Byron Police District were notified and commenced inquiries to locate her.

Following inquiries, she was located safe and well in Tweed Heads on Monday, 27 March.

Police would like to thank the public and the media for their assistance.
