It was a dog day and afternoon when thousands of visitors came to Brunswick Heads on Saturday for the annual Old and Gold Festival, but the delightful bonus for everyone was the dozens of dogs who also spent their time in town.
All observed dogs were on leads and very well behaved and it was heaven on a leash for dog lovers with everything from Lurchers to Chihuahuas, Kelpies and even a Pomski!
Punters were grateful that all dogs were well controlled by there humans and everyone wandered the streets as if all creatures were made equal.
