Mandy Nolan’s Soapbox: Big Polluters are Getting Off

Offsets don’t work. They have become a licence to pollute. What we actually need is a reduction in carbon emissions, not carbon-emitting industries to greenwash their impact by investing in a solar farm or planting saplings. While it’s nice to know that big polluters are keen to invest in green industry it would be better if they just stopped polluting. You know what’s better than offsets?

Each week I get a belly laugh at your left-wing bias. I chuckle at the extreme green radicals who populate your pages. But David Heilpern’s drivel on trans sport made me see red.

David obviously has no idea what men competing against women will do.

Dave: go ahead and bash the crap out of the Murdoch press, but sport has absolutely nothing, zero, to gain from allowing trans participation. Women’s sport as we know it, and enjoy, will be destroyed by athletes with massive amounts of testosterone, much much more that the average girl, smashing those girls on the sports arena.

Dave, stick to chess or jacks, because you know bugger all about sport.

  1. Oh dear, another ‘end of sporting days’ scribble that we are about to be overrun by Tans Athletes.
As USA National Football Player Megan Rapinoe has said, “Show me all the trans people who are nefariously taking advantage of being trans in sports. Its just not happening”.

    Case Closed.

  2. No one can pull the wool over Mike’s eyes. He has said it as he see’s it, well done Mike. We are getting so, so tired of the lefty do-gooder narrative being feed to us. I take exception to the Murdock media being lambasted by these rapscallions, how many of their papers are sold daily?. yes lots, are these people stupid?. No, they are wanting some normality in their lives, not lefty alarmist guardian style rubbish. I suggest the authors of many lefty rants have lead a protected prosperous life, well hidden from the nasty reality’s in the world and all too willing to take it easy on one particular group of people. It is the ultimate insult to be lectured to by these dills. Good luck trying to fool the thinking level headed majority, we have been around and experienced real life, not socialist fantasy’s.

    • Except that the wool has been pulled over Mikes eyes by RupertNews.

Megan Rapinoe, “Show me all the trans people who are nefariously taking advantage of being trans in sports. Its just not happening”. Exactly.

RupertNews, can’t show ‘all the trans people who are nefariously taking advantage of being trans in sports’.
RupertNews has nothing to show, nothing to show but another made up scare campaign punching down on a minority group.

  3. Joachim as normal you miss the point. Please explain how this situation even exists. I suggest it exists because of the radical lefty’s stamping their feet until they get their way. No normal thinking person would entertain the idea of men competing in women’s sports regardless of the number that take part in this blight apon modern society. Lefty’s just keep lowering the bar, they exist to be perpetually offended, alarmist, downtrodden and misunderstood. Knock yourselves out with your disgusting protests, your behaviour only hurts yourselves and diminishes any support they think they will get. Mike has 20/20 vision my friend, just like the overwhelming majority that are sickened by this farce.
