Temporary traffic changes will be in place for the Main Street in Alstonville tomorrow.
Ballina Shire Council’s (BSC) crews will be conducting tree replacement planting on Main Street, Alstonville from 7am – 10am on Thursday, 31 August.
‘Two existing trees are being replaced due to pest and disease,’ said a BSC spokesperson.
‘The work will be carried out between Bugden Lane and Bugden Avenue and will require the temporary closure of the westbound lane of Main Street (between 77-73 Main Street), with traffic control in place for the eastbound lane.
‘Motorists are encouraged to allow extra travel time or use an alternative route.
