A man suffered a fall injury at Murwillumbah on Christmas Day and was taken to Tweed Heads hospital.
‘At about 4pm on Monday 25 December, a Westpac Rescue Helicopter was tasked by NSW Ambulance to Murwillumbah,’ said a Westpac Helicopter spokesperosn.
‘A man in his 50s had suffered a fall sustaining injuries which triggered a seizure. He was treated on scene by the helicopter’s critical care medical team who then escorted the patient by road ambulance to Tweed Heads Hospital.’
