
‘Sound from the Ground’ an Indigenous Palestinian solidarity event and fundraiser is being presented by the Nimbin Bush Theatre tonight from 6pm.
‘Join us for a unique evening of cross-cultural musical collaboration and spoken word, expressing solidarity with Palestine and advocating for peace in the region,’ state organisers.
‘This evening is dedicated to bridging cultures and advocating for the urgent cause of Palestinian liberation from the ongoing occupation.’
The event will feature the Arabic songs of Juman and the resonating Didgeridoo played by Murrawarri man Eshua Bolton.
‘“Sound from the Ground”’ is our urgent plea for unity, urging the global community to join hands in advocating for peace and justice in Palestine,’ said Sajah Mustafa, Nimbin Friends of Palestine.
All money raised will go to for humanitarian aid in Gaza with 100 per cent of profits going to Olive Kids Children’s Charity say organisers.
