‘The day proved to be highly successful, enjoyed by both the kids and the adults in attendance,’ said Tweed Seagulls Corporate and Community Manager Brad Birney.

‘It was a great example of why collaboration works. Seagulls remains dedicated to utilising rugby league as a vehicle to strengthen connections within communities, instil crucial life skills, and contribute positively to the overall well-being of young individuals.’

All participating children thrilled to receive Tweed Seagulls caps and packs from the NRL, NSWRL, and the Gold Coast Titans. This initiative was made possible through the generous support of Eximm.

‘Looking ahead, Tweed Seagulls aims to broaden the impact of such programs on the Northern Rivers through its Eximm Nest Community Programs. The objective is to utilise rugby league as a catalyst for building stronger community connections, imparting essential life skills, and enhancing the overall well-being of young individuals,’ said a spokesperson for Tweed Seagulls.

‘Additionally, the goal is to inspire greater participation and involvement in rugby league, fostering a sense of community engagement and highlighting the positive impact of the sport.’
