The small riverine village of Wardell was the scene of an early morning crash that killed four people on the weekend.
Police on Saturday said three men and a woman died shortly after 5.45am Saturday when a blue Mazda BT50 ute veered off Wardell’s Back Channel Road and rolled.
Emergency services were reportedly called to the crash but police said the male driver and all three passengers died.
Investigations were continuing over the weekend with police to prepare a report for the Coroner.
