The Northern NSW Local Health District is advertising more than 80 full time equivalent roles at the new Tweed Valley Hospital, due to open in mid-May.
Nurses, pharmacists, security, managers, technicians, and support roles are all sought, with 86 graduate nurses and midwives to also join the team.
NSW Health Minister Ryan Park says some key new roles have already been filled, including Director of Cardiology Services, Corporate Services Manager and radiotherapy clinicians.
Staff orientation has reportedly started, with the $723 million state project due to open on 14 May.
A Community Open Day where the public can preview the hospital is planned for Saturday 16 March.
Mr Park says the new hospital will include services in interventional cardiology and radiotherapy as part of integrated cancer care, as well as an expanded outpatients department, mental health service and medical inpatient units.
Good luck! Much better pay & conditions just over the border!
I concur.
