A man died on Friday following a single-vehicle crash south of Lismore.

About 5am Friday, 1 March, 2024, emergency services were called to Reardons Lane, Swan Bay, about 40km south of Lismore, after a member of the public reported a vehicle into a tree.

The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle – a 57-year-old man – was located deceased at the scene.

Officers from Richmond Police District established a crime scene that was examined by specialist police.

A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
