From Monday, July 22 there will be changed traffic conditions on Tyagarah Creek Bridge on the Pacific Highway at Tyagarah to carry out essential maintenance.
To minimise the impact to motorists, work will be carried out at night from 6pm to 6am Monday to Thursday and is expected to be complete in four nights, weather permitting.
Southbound lane closures and a reduced speed limit of 40km/h will be in place during work hours for the safety of workers and motorists. Motorists should allow up to five minutes extra travel time.
‘Oversize and overmass vehicles greater than 4.2 metres wide intending to travel through the site should call the project team on 0419 346 942 at least one and a half hours before reaching the site,’ said a spokesperson for Transport for NSW.
‘When approaching the work site, they are requested to stop at the Yelgun Rest Area about 14kms north of the work location. Once stopped, call the project team on 0419 346 942 to confirm proceeding to site.
‘OSOM vehicles greater than 4.2 metres wide should expect short delays during this work.
‘Motorists are advised to drive to the conditions and follow the directions of signs and traffic control. Transport for NSW thanks motorists for their patience during this time.’
