
NSW Police say that an investigation is underway following a suspicious fire at a local tobacconist earlier this week.
Residents near the Ocean Village shopping centre in Ocean Shores woke to sirens and a blaze at about 12.45am on Tuesday, 6 August as emergency services arrived at the Rajah Road store, Ocean Shores Tobacconist.
Fire and Rescue NSW firefighters extinguished the fire; however, the business sustained significant damage.
A crime scene was established, with inquiries underway by officers attached to Tweed/Byron Police District.
