The Lismore Art Club is set to open its 64th annual show in September, making it the longest running art exhibition in the region.
Lismore Art Club was established in 1960 and has maintained an enthusiastic membership throughout decades of change. In 2024 the not-for-profit club continues to be a vital part of the local art scene, providing opportunities for learning, collaboration, and artistic expression.
‘It’s a fantastic club to be a part of,’ said Lismore Art Club president and local artist Jeht Burgoyne. ‘Whether you have just a hint of creativity or are a seasoned artist, the club warmly welcomes everyone, from beginners to professionals alike.
‘The enduring legacy of the club stands as a testament to the vibrant and resilient creative spirit that defines the Lismore community.’
