A teenage girl has died after being hit by a car in Lismore.
About 5pm yesterday (Wednesday, 11 September, 2024), emergency services were called to the Bruxner Highway, East Lismore, following reports a pedestrian had been hit by trailer.
Members of the public administered first aid until NSW Ambulance paramedics arrived.
The 15-year-old girl was taken to Lismore Base Hospital; however later died.
A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
The male driver of the utility and trailer, aged 42, was taken to Lismore Base Hospital for mandatory testing.
Officers attached to Richmond Police District established a crime scene, with investigations into the circumstances surrounding the incident ongoing.
