With around 5,000 people coming through the gates for the Mullumbimby Show last weekend there was lots of fun, activities, and catching up taking place.
The show kicked off on Friday with stock horse events and a trotting display.
‘The pavilion entries were really great with lots of people entering this years wide range of competitions,’ Sue Walker, treasurer and social media manager, told The Echo.

The ever popular truck parade wended its way through town with trucks, very clean trucks, young and old on display.
‘On Saturday there were horse events, cattle judging, pavilion entries, and lots of families and friends catching up. Saturday night there was the fireworks with a laser show incorporated with the view to trying new things,’ said Sue.

Saturday also saw lots of kids enjoying the petting zoo and leaning about snakes and reptiles while families got to watch bans, eat a great range of food and generally enjoy a fun atmosphere.
‘Sunday’s demolition derby had more cars entered than ever while the new trick riding on horses was also really popular,’ said Sue.
