A woman in her 40s was thrown from her horse on Sunday, November 10 in South Ballina.
At around 1.15pm a Westpac Rescue Helicopter (WRHS) was tasked by NSW Ambulance to attend the scene of the horse riding accident.
‘A woman in her 40s sustained leg and pelvic injuries in a fall from a horse,’ said a spokesperson for WRHS.
‘The patient was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics and the helicopter’s critical care medical team before being airlifted to Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.’
