
The recent flooding and rainy weather is a reminder to get prepares with your emergency plan for what to do when it floods or rains heavily. Like a fire plan it sets out all the steps you and your family take when a storm is approaching and a flood takes place – from when to stay in your home to when to leave.
A free EmergencyRedi workshop, is being run in Lismore at the Resilient Lismore Hub on Monday December 9, 5.30 to 7.30pm, 215 Keen Street for anyone who feels they need a little help to start their emergency plan.
‘At our recent workshop, people left with a complete plan and a sense of ease that they are better prepared in an emergency situation,; said organsers in a recent press release.
The Red Cross is presenting the workshop at the Resilient Lismore Hub with cuppas and snacks so everyone can come along and get prepared.
