NSW Police are appealing for public assistance after a man was hit by a car south of Lismore on the weekend.
Just after 3.20am on Saturday, emergency services were called to the Bruxner Highway at Loftville, about 5km south of Lismore CBD, after a man was found injured.
A stable condition
The 33-year-old man was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Lismore Base Hospital in a stable condition.
The man has told officers attached to Richmond Police District he was hit by a white sedan which continued south along the Bruxner Highway without stopping.
A crime scene has been established and an investigation into the incident has commenced.
