Ballina Shire Council has launched a brand-new public website and have made the interesting design choice not to capitalise the word ‘ballina’ on its front page.
‘The new website will ensure the Ballina Shire community receive a high-quality digital experience offering a modern and user-friendly experience,’ they say in a press release.
New features include
- ‘What’s Around Me?’ is an interactive map allowing users to enter an address and discover nearby projects, parks, facilities, bin collection days, local Councillors and more.
- Enhanced search function with predictive search and keyword filtering for simpler, fast access to information.
- Integrated community engagement with Council’s Your Say platform now integrated with the website, making it easier to stay informed and provide feedback on current projects.
‘Our new website is designed to make it easier and more intuitive for the community to access information and services,’ said Tracy Lister, Manager Communications and Customer Service.
‘With improved navigation, interactive tools, and a fresh design, we’re providing a more user-friendly experience. We invite residents to explore the site and share their feedback,’ she said.
If you have feedback, please complete the Customer Feedback form on the website or call 1300 864 444.
