From next week traffic conditions on Hinterland Way, St Helena will be changed to carry out slope stabilisation work just east of the intersection with St Helena Road.

Work will start on Monday, March 17 and will be carried out weekdays from 6am to 6pm with some work possible between 6am and 6pm Saturdays.

Work is expected to be complete by July, weather permitting.

Single lane, alternating traffic flow arrangements and a reduced speed limit of 40km/h will be in place during work hours for the safety of workers and road users. A speed limit of 60km/h will be in place outside work hours.

Support The Echo

Keeping the community together and the community voice loud and clear is what The Echo is about. More than ever we need your help to keep this voice alive and thriving in the community.

Like all businesses we are struggling to keep food on the table of all our local and hard working journalists, artists, sales, delivery and drudges who keep the news coming out to you both in the newspaper and online. If you can spare a few dollars a week – or maybe more – we would appreciate all the support you are able to give to keep the voice of independent, local journalism alive.
