Westpac Rescue Helicopter and NSW Ambulance were called to Whian Whian Falls, north of Dunoon on Saturday, February 8 to attend an injured individual.
‘About 2pm on Saturday a Westpac Rescue Helicopter was tasked by NSW Ambulance to [attend to] a person injured after a fall at the base of Whian Whian Falls,’ stated a spokesperson for Westpac Rescue Helicopter.
‘NSW Ambulance paramedics on scene assessed the patient for lower back injuries, before transporting them by road to Lismore Base Hospital in a stable condition, with the helicopter returning to base.’
