
Around 1:30am this morning (Wednesday 12 February), the Westpac Rescue Helicopter was tasked by NSW Ambulance on an urgent inter-hospital transfer from Grafton Hospital to Gold Coast University Hospital.
A woman in her 20s, suffering a serious medical condition, was stabilised by hospital staff and the NSW Ambulance critical care paramedic and a NSW Health doctor from the helicopter’s critical care medical team, before being airlifted to Southport.
