Ingredients: Figs, raspberries, mascarpone, egg yolks, sugar, Marsala (or sweet wine).

Method: Gently combine figs and raspberries. Whisk egg yolks and sugar, then whisk in Marsala. Cook over simmering water (bowl must not touch water) until thick and doubled in volume. Remove from heat and whisk until cool and thick. Gently fold in mascarpone. Spoon zabaglione over fruit. Serve immediately.
Beyond the food, the market offers romantic touches. Surprise your loved one with locally-grown flowers. Set the mood with handmade beeswax candles. And for relaxation, explore Dr. Chill’s soothing oils. The farmers’ market is your one-stop shop for a memorable Valentine’s Day. Whether you choose a market breakfast, a quiet dinner, or a combination, we have everything you need.

Support The Echo

Keeping the community together and the community voice loud and clear is what The Echo is about. More than ever we need your help to keep this voice alive and thriving in the community.

Like all businesses we are struggling to keep food on the table of all our local and hard working journalists, artists, sales, delivery and drudges who keep the news coming out to you both in the newspaper and online. If you can spare a few dollars a week – or maybe more – we would appreciate all the support you are able to give to keep the voice of independent, local journalism alive.
