
The NSW SES is directing people in All properties on Cabbage Tree Island to EVACUATE BEFORE 12pm Saturday, 8 March due to moderate to major flooding.
‘You must evacuate before this time because evacuation routes may be cut. You should evacuate to stay with family, friends, or alternate accommodation in areas unaffected by flooding.’

If you are unable to find accommodation an evacuation centre has been set up at Evans Head RSL, 11-13 McDonald Place, Evans Head NSW.
