The Public Information and Inquiry Centre (PIIC), which was activated to support the ex-Tropical Cyclone Alfred response in NSW, has now closed.

Members of the public in flood-affected areas are reminded to avoid dangers such as damaged powerlines and flood water on roads as they return to their communities.

It is also advisable to continue to monitor www.ses.nsw.gov.au as well as your regular media news sources for updated advice and warnings.

– For the latest on road closures, members of the community can visit: www.livetraffic.com.

– For weather, wind and marine warnings check the Bureau of Meteorology website: www.bom.gov.au

– Register, Find, Reunite remains operational via https://register.redcross.org.au/

– If you need assistance during floods and storms call the NSW SES on 132 500 or Triple Zero (000) for life threatening emergencies.
