Anzac Day will begin in Tweed Shire on April 25, 2025 with Dawn Services at Tweed Heads, Kingscliff, Cudgen, and Murwillumbah. 

Kingscliff and Cudgen: 

The march will commence at  the corner of Village Lane and Cresent Street, heading toward Collier Street at 4.10am for a Dawn Service that will commence at 4.28am at the cenotaph inside Cudgen Public School. 

A 6am Dawn Servei will take place in Kingscliff at Rowan Robinson Park followed by the Gunfire Breakfast at the Kingscliff Bowls Club. 

A community march will head down Marine Parade, Kingscliff at 10.30am to the Kingscliff cenotaph for the main service at 10.45am. 

Tweed Heads-Coolangatta events:

The Tweed Heads Dawn Service will take place at 5.55am at the Chris Cunningham Park. The main march starts at 10.30am prior to the main service at 11am at the Chris Cunningham Park. Following the main march local students and teachers along with families who participated will be invited to Level 3 for free refreshments. There will also be a DJ, magician, transfer artist and memorabilia display.

Murwillumbah:

Murwillumbah will start its Dawn Service at 5am at Rememberabce Place Cenotpah. This will be followed by the veteran’s breakfast at 5.45am. 

The main march will gather at the intersection of Murwillumbah Street and Queensland Road (near the fire station) at 10am for a 10.30am start. The morning services will take place at 10.40am. 

A veterans lunch will be held at the Murwillumbah Services Club at 12 noon.
