A truck veered off the road in Clunes on Friday, killing the driver, police say.
Officers say emergency services responded to reports of the truck having crashed into a tree off Bangalow Road in Clunes into a tree around 3.10pm Friday 20 June.
Paramedics treated the 46-year-old male driver, but he died at the scene.
Specialist police have been investigating the crash and are to prepare a report for the information of the coroner.
