If you have recently received texts or emails from myGov that contain links DO NOT CLICK on them – it is a scam.
A spokesperson from Services Australia has confirmed with The Echo that messages like th eone shown are, ‘a scam message as myGov doesn’t send links in text messages or emails’.
‘A scam message can be reported to our specialist team by emailing a screenshot of an SMS or forwarding an email to [email protected]. It can then be deleted,’ said the spokesperson.
