softwash Full Foam Rinse and Spin – is a free, frothing, salty celebration of live, experimental art and performance by the Tweed River.

softwash Full Foam Rinse and Spin will temporarily metamorphose the river bank and public parklands at the Tweed Regional Learning Centre on Minjungbal Country on Saturday.

softwash promises a foamy afternoon of live art, workshops, a reading club and experimental performance for all. softwash is an invitation to reflect on friendship, place and art making in uncertain times.

Full Foam Rinse and Spin is a playful, artist-led gathering that asks: what can be generated with the right conditions?

Part art party, part live performance

Part art party, part live performance and made with care, this event is the first of three one-day-only celebrations of creative energy, hosted where the salty waters of Terranora and Cobaki Creeks converge.

Jump aboard the BBQ boat and wade into the unexpected, with new work from Mark Cora, Sarah Poulgrain, Artist Boardriders Club, Adrienne Kenafake, Holiday Makers, Lewis and Julie McLaren.

softwash is an artist-run initiative reimagining public spaces as places of artistic collaboration and community connection. This event is the latest in a growing series of live and experimental art programs, workshops, and reading clubs rooted deeply in place and shared experience. softwash will present Eating Together on September 27 and At the Waters Edge on November 8.
