Another person was killed in a crash on Northern Rivers roads on Monday, the fourth in as many days, police said.
Authorities closed southbound lanes of the Pacific Highway (M1) near Mooball shortly after the crash around 9.30am Monday.
Local police said they were told several vehicles crashed with a man in the southbound lanes of the motorway and that he died on-scene.
He was yet to be formally identified, with police investigations ongoing.
Drivers were being advised to avoid the area and delay non-essential travel.
