NSW Police are appealing for assistance to locate a man missing from the state’s north.
Timothy Eckersley, aged 46, was last seen on Wharf Street, Tweed Heads on Tuesday, July 8.
When he could not be contacted or located, officers attached to Tweed/Byron Police District were notified on Wednesday, and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.
Police and family hold concerns for his welfare as his disappearance is out of character.
Timothy is described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance, about 180cm tall, of large build with black hair and brown eyes. He has a snake tattoo on his upper right arm.
He is known to frequent Tweed Heads and Byron Bay areas.
