
NSW Police are still conducting a land search for a man missing in the Northern Rivers.
Mark Angus, aged 67, was last seen in Nimbin about 4pm on Friday last week, August 8.
Police told The Echo this morning that Mr Angus is still listed as missing.
Police say that when Mr Angus could not be contacted or located, officers from Richmond Police District were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.
Following inquiries at about 8am on Saturday, August 9, his vehicle – a 1994 white Toyota Hiace van – was located abandoned on Stander Road, Stony Chute, approximately 10km west of Nimbin.
Local police with the assistance of the State Emergency Services are undertaking a search of bushland at the location.
Mark is described as Caucasian appearance, thin build, 160cm tall with grey hair and beard.
He was last seen wearing a long dark green jacket, blue jeans and black shoes.
