The Casino RSM Club will officially open the Casino Youth Hub today at 5pm – the hub is a new space designed to empower, support and connect young people across the Richmond Valley.
Located at 161 Walker Street, the Youth Hub has been developed in close consultation with local youth, community leaders and service providers to create a safe, inclusive and inspiring environment for young people.
The Hub, which is designed as a drop-in space will also offer free access to programs in mental health, career guidance, creative arts, leadership development and recreational activities.
Casino RSM Club President Trudy Lamont said the opening marks a major milestone in the Club’s commitment to youth development. ‘The Youth Hub is more than just a building, it’s a welcoming space for our community built on respect, inclusion and opportunity,’ said Ms Lamont.
‘We’re proud to have created something that reflects the needs, passions and potential of our young people.’

Youth Hub coordinator
The Hub will be led by newly appointed Youth Hub Coordinator Bianca Rayner, whose background in community engagement and youth empowerment will guide the planning and delivery of programs.
Casino RSM Club CEO John Walker said the Club believes every young person deserves a place where they feel supported. ‘The Youth Hub will be that place.’
The grand opening celebration will feature live music from local young performer, Sophie Rayne, free pizza and light refreshments, interactive workshops and guided tours of the new facility.
Community members, families and young people are warmly invited to attend and explore the space.
