Presented by 3DayArt, 260 Rocks the pop-up installation is showing for two days only in Civic Art Space at Mullum Memorial Hall.
The exhibition features the work of Richard Tabaka with his extraordinary 260 hanging rocks. The installation reflects the landscape of Lake Eyre and is backed by a digitally manipulated dyptich. The rocks themselves fired by the magical Obvara firing process – a medieval Baltic technique.
260 rocks is supported by a fantastic small and intriguing work by Stefan Mager in ceramic, comprising 37 components in all, each one magically painted.

Also supporting is a two part installation by Suvira McDonald featuring to Totems composed of obsolete farm equipment and salvaged timber. On the other side is his cauldron series reflecting the place we live, this Caldera of Wollumbin.
Check the 3dayart.com.au website The exhibition only is on for two days this weekend so get down there! The exhibition will also be open on Friday and Saturday, 10am to 5pm.
