Police say they charged three individuals for domestic violence assaults across the Tweed Byron District over the week ending last Friday.
Officers report arresting a total of eight people for assault, three of them serious assaults.
A 59-year-old man is to face Tweed Heads Local Court on 22 October charged with possessing a knife and knuckle dusters.
Police say they made the arrest in Condong after an incident on 10 September.
Brothers charged over Uki pub brawl
Also included in the most recent police report summary was last week’s arrest of two brothers over their actions in a brawl at a Uki pub on 5 September.
Officers from the Australian Federal Police helped in the arrest.
One of the two accused, a 42-year-old, has had bail refused and is due to appear at Tweed Heads Local Court on 3 November.
His 35-year-old brother and co-accused is due to appear at the Murwillumbah Local Court on 22 October.
