A 42-year-old man is to face court in November charged over an alleged violent assault in Uki earlier this month.
Officers say they were called to a hotel on Kyogle Rd in Uki around 10.45pm Friday 5 September in response to reports of multiple people physically fighting.
Police on arrival found and helped a 48-year-old man with serious injuries before declaring the area a crime scene.
They say extensive inquiries with assistance from the NSW Police Force Raptor Squad and Australian Federal Police led to a search of a house on Rowlands Creek Road in Uki on Friday 8 September and the arrest of a 42-year-old man.
He’s charged with affray and has had bail refused bail pending a scheduled appearance in the Tweed Heads Local Court on 3 November.
