The Rural Fire Service has again suspended fire permits in the Lismore, Kyogle, Richmond Valley local government areas.
The RFS issued the ban on Tuesday, to come into effect midnight that night and continue throughout Wednesday 8 and Thursday 9 October.
The ban was in response to hot and dry conditions and came a week after the region’s first fire ban for the official bush fire danger period that started as of October.
