A boutique celebration of culinary talents across the Tweed region begins tomorrow –  Savour The Tweed.

Running Wednesday 22 October to Sunday 26 October, organisers Christine Manfield & Amy Colli say the festival ‘brings 35 vibrant and diverse events that not only taste good but have connection at their heart’.

‘The festival showcases local culinary leaders from grass-roots growers and passionate producers to award-winning chefs, acclaimed distilleries, natural wine makers, and hatted restaurants.

‘Get ready for five flavour-filled days of mouth-watering food, where fresh-grown goodness is served, great ideas are explored, and delicious times are guaranteed.

Just the second year since the festival began, this year’s event promises more of everything, including a diverse range of location-themed events that spotlight local provenance and highlight fresh-grown local goodness’.

‘Building on the success of last year, 2025 includes dynamic collaborations between Tweed food heroes and famous culinary names, including proud Bundjalung chef Mindy Woods, chef Martin Boetz of Brisbane’s Shortgrain, Spanish chef Frank Camorra of Movida in Melbourne, author and TV presenter Belinda Jeffrey.

‘Indulge in seasonal dishes by awarded chefs, up your cooking game at a fun masterclass, or enjoy a free day out for all the family. This is a chance to sip, taste and savour the magic of fresh produce and culinary expertise for creative collaborations in breathtaking hinterland and coastal landscapes,’ the pair added.
