Police are appealing for information after two drivers were seriously injured in a crash near Lismore earlier this month.
About 11pm on Tuesday 11 November 2025, emergency services were called to the Bruxner Highway at Irvington – about 25km west of Lismore – following reports of a crash.
Officers attached to Richmond Police District were told two vehicles collided head-on before crashing into a paddock. The drivers – two men aged 22 and 35 – were treated at the scene before being taken to Lismore Base Hospital each in a stable condition.
A crime scene was established and inquiries into the circumstances surround the crash commenced by officers attached to the Crash Investigation Unit, assisted by Richmond Police District.
As inquiries continue, police are appealing for anyone with information or dashcam footage to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
In particular, police would like to speak with the driver of a vehicle which was overtaken by another car on the Bruxner Highway shortly before the collision.
