
Around 6pm Saturday 22 November, a Westpac Rescue Helicopter was tasked by NSW Ambulance to a patient injured in a bicycle accident in the Coffs Harbour area.
The patient, a teenage boy, was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being transported to Coffs Harbour Airport to meet the helicopter.
The helicopter’s critical care medical team stabilised the patient and he was airlifted to Lismore Base Hospital.
