A body has been located during a search for a man missing from the state’s north earlier this month.
The 37-year-old was last seen on Red Gum Road, Old Bar, about 18km east of Taree, about 10am on Tuesday 9 December 2025.
Officers attached to Manning-Great Lakes Police District were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.
Police have now located a body of a man at a bushland near Old Bar Road, Old Bar. While the body is yet to be formally identified, it is believed to be that of the missing man.
A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
