A man in his forties survived a near-drowning in the Byron hinterland over the weekend.
Emergency services say the Westpac Rescue Helicopter was sent to a reported drowning incident at Nashua around 10.30am Sunday 30 November.
Paramedics treated a man in his forties before taking him to Gold Coast University Hospital.
