The streets of Byron Bay will explode to life over New Years Eve, with world-class roving street performers, community acts and family friendly entertainment headlined by much-loved Australian performers.
Soul Street is returning this afternoon from 4pm.
Multiple street hubs with food stalls, interactive lighting and world-class entertainment will be activated across Jonson Street and Dening Park.
This is a wonderful family friendly environment allowing the whole community to welcome in the new year in a safe space.
Who’s on this year?
Artists this year include Ginger Lane (soul-folk singer/songwriter), Animal Ventura (multi-instrumentalist from Brazil), Sam Joole (combining DJ sounds with live music), Poppy Galactic (a joyful children’s music act created to celebrate the magic of Planet Earth) and Plastic Free Boy (interactive eco-adventure show).
Also on the bill are Little Likes (folk-pop duo), Jesse Morris (roots and reggae), Zephyr Breeze (youth rock), Rachel By The Stream (genre-defying duo), Sky Eater (mermaid trip-hop dub), Puzzle Dust (high energy circus), Moonrise Productions (projection-mapped installation) and Sparkle Society (fantastical circus performance).
