To mark World Wildlife Day, The Northern Rivers Wildlife Hospital have launched their Wildlife Wishlist, which they describe as ‘a simple way to give what’s needed most and directly support the care of our patients’.
In a media release they say, ‘You can choose an item to give, knowing exactly how your support is helping wildlife in our care’.
‘The Northern Rivers Wildlife Hospital runs on the support of our community, and the items on our Wishlist help us care for wildlife every single day.
‘From small but essential items like avian nets, to specialised equipment like a veterinary humidicrib, every item plays a vital role in the treatment, recovery and rehabilitation of our wildlife neighbours’.
‘We invite individuals, businesses and organisations to get involved, helping bring these items to life and make a lasting impact for wildlife across the Northern Rivers.
‘Every contribution, big or small, makes a real difference for native wildlife in our region’.

For four decades The Echo has printed the stories some people loved, some people hated, and some pretended not to read. If you want us to keep telling the truth, the real truth, not the sugar-coated version. We’ll need your support to keep the presses rolling.
