The next Food Forever event this Saturday 25 April from 2-4:30pm at Marvell Hall in Byron Bay.
Organised by Local Futures, they say, ‘We’re now ready to go full steam ahead with setting concrete plans and would love to see you there’.
‘There’s a role for everyone, especially those of us – the 99% – who aren’t growers, in this collective effort to build a local food system. The skills I know many of you have in finance, management, law, accounting, fundraising, marketing and more are all essential for this project.
Local Futures’ Helena Norberg-Hodge says, ‘This will be my last public event before John and I head back to the northern hemisphere for 5 months’.
‘These events will continue while I’m away. The next one after this will be on Saturday 23 May in Murwillumbah’, she added.
