
Around 10:45am on Tuesday 14 April, a Westpac Rescue Helicopter was tasked by NSW Ambulance to an incident involving a gas bottle explosion on a property at Rocky River, east of Tenterfield.
A male in his 50s, who had suffered burns, was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics and the helicopter’s critical care medical team before he was airlifted to the Royal Brisbane Hospital in a serious condition.
