
Around 6pm on Sunday 5 April, a Westpac Rescue Helicopter was tasked by NSW Ambulance to a gas bottle explosion at a holiday park in Tweed Heads.
A female in her 50s was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics and the helicopter’s critical care medical team before being airlifted to the Royal Brisbane Hospital, burns unit, in a serious condition.
