Every Sunday from 26 April, Nyck Jeanes will host a series of events from 6.45 for 7pm.
It’s called Syzygy@Embody (‘if you don’t know the word ‘Syzygy’, look it up!’ says Nyck).
He says, ‘From that date and every fortnight thereafter, well-regarded local chant ‘group’, HeartChant will play. Featuring (me) Nyck, Tarshito, Paul Kimmel, Eltara, Pratima, and guests. They have been playing every fortnight very regularly for over 12 years’.
‘On the alternate weeks, many things will be on offer. At this stage, always local artists, presenters and the like, celebrating local culture, heart, art and spirit. Including movement and dance, maybe some comedy, and a little later Nyck intends to launch a live, streaming radio show! With a small live ticketed audience.
‘Embody is a new space that already hosts some great local offerings. Check it out @ https://www.embodyspace.au/ for info and bookings. The venue holds up to 60 people’.
