
NSW Police have unveiled preliminary plans for the new Byron Bay police station, which will be located within a new emergency services precinct on Gilmore Crescent.
Police media say, ‘It will be the site of the new Byron Bay police station, and a new Fire & Rescue NSW fire station’.
‘The new state-of-the-art police station will provide better accessibility, visibility and mobility for emergency operations across the area.
‘Early works are underway at the site including site clearing, and civil and infrastructure works.

‘The Byron Bay Police Station project budget is $21.8 million, funded by the NSW Government.
‘The new Byron Bay Police station is expected to be completed in 2028.
